Welcome to the Andor Cinematic Walking Tour in London!
In black and white, of course – for maximum brutalist impact.
Over the summer, I spent a couple of days in London and couldn’t resist tracking down some of the locations featured in Andor. I brought my camera along to capture this little Star Wars-inspired adventure around the Thames, and I thought I’d share a few of the photos here. So welcome to the Andor cinematic walking tour!
We begin at Canary Wharf, for a bit of Rogue One nostalgia. This is where the garrison is deployed… or should be. If you watch closely, you might even spot one way out. That’s what I call foreshadowing. Well played, Mr. Gilroy.

Before we know it, Scarif transforms into Coruscant, and we find ourselves standing in front of the gates of the ISB – the Imperial Security Bureau. A perfect moment to remember the most toxic ship of the series: Dedra Meero and Syril Karn. Two lovebirds in a fascist world – or was it two fascists in a... lovebird world?
Who am I to judge?

Next, we move on to Lloyd’s of London, the ideal spot to hatch a conspiracy. Luthen is already waiting there, somewhere between the pipes, lifts, and staircases – and he’s ready to burn his life to make a sunrise he’ll never see.

Our next stop is Guildhall, where we breathe in a bit of that Ghorman air, before losing ourselves in the dark corridors of the Barbican.

Kleya knows every corner of this concrete labyrinth. And if we’re lucky, we might even spot Bix and Cassian blowing something up on their way to their hidden safehouse.

For the grand finale, we arrive at the site of what is arguably the most iconic Coruscant shot in Andor: the Brunswick Centre. Technically, we’re not allowed in there – but hey, this is the Rebellion, and we have no time for rules.

Thanks for joining me on this stroll through some (brutalist) architecture. Next post will be back to concept art, I promise!
